Incorporating the Optical Data Centre, an AAL-funded initiative
Data Central brings together an array of heterogenous astronomical data in one accessible, feature-rich data portal, maximising the scientific return on Australian optical datasets of national significance. We serve team-curated data products and documentation alongside federated data from remote data portals, providing access for novice astronomers, expert survey-team members, and members of the public alike.
Query catalogues using SQL/ADQL, run image cutouts and download results; services allow you to explore the data products hosted at Data Central.
Search for sources by position or survey-team-allocated names. If a source has survey-team generated data products, define a selection to download.
The AAT Archive provides online access to the data observed to date on the Anglo-Australian Telescope (TAIPAN UK-Schmidt and Huntsman telescope archives are in development).
The Schema Browser displays meta information around data products and derived properties, across all ingested surveys and archives.
Find information, examples, FAQs and extensive descriptions of the data, curated by the survey teams.
Data Central is developed with its users in mind. We'd love to hear your suggestions for new features you'd like to see developed, plus give you the opportunity to vote on the functionality you'd like to see prioritized.
